Dr. Carolyn Marshall is a recent PhD graduate from Dalhousie University where she is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Atlantic Soil Health Lab. She grew up in Nova Scotia and started studying plant/herbivore interactions at Acadia University and then moved lower down to study plant/soil interactions at UBC and did my field research in grasslands in the Yukon. After moving back to Nova Scotia she became increasingly interested in agriculture and food supply and used her plant/soil knowledge to move into agricultural research.
