Ken began organic farming with his parents in 2000 and expanded his operation in 2003. Along with his two children, Ken has reared lambs, pigs, chickens, rabbits and speciality birds all organically. He has experienced the trials and tribulations of organic production from the ground up.
Ken also works as an organic inspector in Canada as well as the US and Mexico. He has a working knowledge of the standards and understands the certification process. Ken will cover some of the standards and the inspection process as it relates to his experiences as a producer and as an inspector.
